Did Julia Roberts Undergo Plastic Surgery?

Julia Roberts has been the subject of many plastic surgery talks. Speculations about her having eye bags removal surgery, cheek lifts and rhinoplasty have dogged her from the beginning of her career.

However, of late, in 2014, Julia Roberts has openly spoken against plastic surgery. In fact, she feels that by NOT going for plastic surgery, she is taking a big risk in Hollywood.

“By Hollywood standards, I guess I’ve already taken a big risk in not having had a face-lift,” Roberts said in an interview with You magazine.  

“I’ve told Lancome that I want to be an aging model…They have to keep me for at least five more years until I’m over 50,”

She claims that going the natural way can compensate for the artificial means of using fillers and injections. Botox and juvederm do not seem to spark any interest in her. Julia Roberts insists that anti-aging should be done normally through Yoga and mind cleansing.

Such comments are rare in Hollywood. Usually, celebrities either keep quiet about it or admit it upfront like Dolly Parton. Celebrities who are willing to age gracefully like Harrison Ford and Julia Roberts is hard to find.

Julia Roberts Still Models For Lancome

Being the Model for Lancome, she said ‘But I’ve told Lancome that I want to be an ageing model – so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I’m over 50,’ Well, at least Lancome has a straight talking model representing their brand. And that is priceless.

To Julia Roberts, happiness is having a “lightness to life”. It’s about being able to let go of things and “not taking things too seriously”.

We must say that her positive attitude to life has brought her everlasting youth. Julia Roberts still looks as fresh after giving birth to three children. There is not the slightest hint of saggy skin on her face. Some say its the use of dermal fillers but there seems to be no evidence of that. Her face still looks natural and her facial expressions do not look restricted.

Rumours of Julia Roberts Rhinoplasty

Another persistent rumour about Julia Roberts is her nose job. However, after looking at her then and now photos, it seems like there is no change in her nose shape. There might be some differences due to the angle of the photo shot or make up. But structurally, there seems to be no change at all. So, to say that Julia Roberts underwent a nose job is quite far fetched. She has a naturally sharp nose and suits her face perfectly.

Julia Roberts has said in an interview with ELLE that she feels that people are so afraid of aging that they will not know how they actually look like when they age. Her next words says it all about plastic surgery “I want my kids to know when I’m pissed, when I’m happy and when I’m confounded“, probably referring to those botox infused artificial looking faces in Hollywood.
