Did Lark Voorhies Undergo Plastic Surgery?

Lark Voorhies was well known in the nineties for her role as Lisa Turtle in Saved by the Bell. Popular in her teens, she has shunned the limelight for many years. Like many teenage stars, not all of them achieve superstardom when they grew older. Nonetheless, her recent appearances shock many fans. The former teenage star looked nothing like what she used to be. Was she trying too hard? Well, you have to look at Lark Voorhies’ before and after photos to find out. Some of the plastic surgery speculations include a nose job, botox injections, eyelid surgery, facial fillers and even skin lightening.

Lark Voorhies is an American actress who had great success in the late 80s and early 90s. Some of her noteworthy achievements include nominations for Young Artist Award for six times, winning twice in 1990 and 1993 for her role in Saved by the Bell. Her recent acting effort was includes the role of Ana Smith in the 2008 movie The Next Hit. Though she is not really active in the acting world, it is no surprise that Lark Voorhies might still want to keep those aging signs at bay.

Lark Voorhies and Botox Injection Rumors

One of the most common plastic surgery procedures is Botox injections. Botox is widely used for the removal of fine lines and wrinkles. However, botox has a tendency to “freeze” the face when too much is being injected. Due to some overly ambitious celebrities, some users of botox end up having unnatural and frozen look. If used sparingly and at the right places, botox can work wonders.

Unfortunately, it looks like botox did not really work out for Lark Voorhies (if she used botox). Her face look slightly unnatural. While perhaps botox did help to refresh her face and remove some fine lines, her face ended up looking lumpy and unnatural.

However, as she has never admitted to the use of botox, one cannot conclude if its due to overdose of botox.

Lark Voorhies and Eyelid Surgery Rumors

Another plastic surgery speculation about Lark Voorhies was eyelid surgery. A common surgery undergone by many, eyelid surgery is used to widen the eyes to make them look bigger. However, in the case of Lark Voorhies, her eyes seem to have gone a size smaller. It looks like the eyelid surgery, if she had undergone any, did not work out right. The tightness around her eyes are a sign that she might have undergone a facelift at the same time.

Whatever it is, the procedure did not end up too well.

Lark Voorhies and Nose Job Rumors

Another stand out plastic surgery evident on Lark Voorhies is nose job surgery. Commonly known as rhinoplasty, a nose job carries great risk. It is a huge risk in exchange for a smaller and sharper nose. Some even specify that they want a narrower nose bridge. However, sometimes, the decision is best left to the plastic surgeon because they should know what are the limits of any nose job.

For Lark Voorhies, though there were intense rumors about a nose job, her recent appearance in a video interview did not really show an altered nose. What we see in some of the before and after photos online might have been photoshopped.

Lark Voorhies and Facial Fillers Rumors

Facial fillers are generally used to remove wrinkles and prevent certain areas of the face from sagging.

Actually, for Lark Voorhies, she does not really need any touch up at all. At her current age of 42, there is little reason for her to go ahead with such extensive use of plastic surgery. Her cheeks look “detached” from her face and her face just looks so unnatural. One of the most important job of a plastic surgeon is to manage the expectations of their client. In the case of Lark Voorhies, we wonder if her plastic surgeon left out that part of his job as Lark Voorhies face does look slightly unnatural.

Overall, Lark Voorhies is still a beautiful lady. Despite being out of the entertainment circle, she still make waves with her few appearances.
