Kirsten Dunst Teeth – More Eye-Catching That Her Boobs

Mention Kirsten Dunst, and you’ll probably think of Mary Jane, Spiderman’s love interest. The prolific actress has starred in memorable films, but she stands out for another reason – her teeth.

We explore the changes in the star’s teeth and share how they’ve helped her acting career. Of course, we’ll tell you what she’s done to them.

What happened to Kirsten’s teeth?

Dunst is beautiful, without a doubt. She began her entertainment career at the tender age of three as a child model.

She had crooked teeth that made her look adorable then. They became the star’s outstanding feature as she grew up. The media has given her the moniker, ‘Snaggletooth.’ The unevenness is evident when viewed from certain angles.

But they’ve become straighter of late. Dunst now has an even, white smile. So has she altered them?

Kirsten’s career: Did her crooked teeth help?

Dunst has had an illustrious career, which she began at a young age. She made her film debut as a three-year-old in Woody Allen’s short film, Oedipus Wrecks. It was part of the anthology, New York Stories. Her crooked teeth added to her childlike charm.

She gained acclaim for her role as Claudia in Interview With A Vampire. Her acting skills and beauty stood out: her teeth, jagged or not, didn’t affect her looks or performance. The then twelve-year-old secured a Golden Globe Nomination as Best Supporting Actress. Another testament to Dunst’s appeal is that she appeared in Little Women that year.

The actress secured a role as Carmen Chemingo between 1996 and 1997. Her teeth didn’t hinder her progress because casting directors picked her for roles in Wag the Dog, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Bring It On, and Get Over It.

She gained fame for her role as Mary Jane Watson in the Spiderman Trilogy. Dunst has also starred in Wimbledon, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Elizabethtown. She appeared in Sophia Copolla’s biography, Marie Antoinette and formed a camaraderie with the director.

Her less than perfect teeth have not sullied her career. If anything, it has blossomed. She has won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Lars Von Triers’ Melancholia and continues to helm the second season of Fargo.

That’s not to say that no one noticed them. ‘Snaggletooth’ has been the subject of media speculation. She has received multiple criticisms for her crooked teeth, including suggestions for having them fixed.

Dunst stained her teeth for her role in Small Soldiers. The film was a 1990s production and showed that her teeth weren’t as even as thought.

What did Kirsten Do To Her Teeth?

The star denies that she had her teeth fixed. Her mentor, Sophia Coppola, mentioned that overlapping teeth made her special.

Still, they look considerably straighter than before. If she fixed them, she would have used orthodontics.

Reactions to Kirsten Dunst’s teeth

Fans reacted positively to the change. They feel that her new teeth have taken her from girl-next-door to sophisticate.

All said, crooked teeth or not, Dunst is one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood.
