Ariel Winter Defends Her Breast Reduction Surgery Scars

Ariel Winter is an American actress, singer and voice actress. Recently, she is embroiled in some heated debate about her breast reduction plastic surgery. Its a pity that Ariel Winter is being criticised for doing the right thing in the entertainment industry. Looks like honesty is not the best policy in show business.

In the latest SAG Awards on January 30, there was some serious hate about Ariel Winter. It was the apparent display of her plastic surgery scars that led to some debate amongst her fans.

And the ugly comments surfaced on Twitter about Ariel Winter showing off the scars from the possible boob job she did recently, The 18 year old star recently revealed that she went for a breast reduction surgery last summer.

Ariel Winter went from a 32F cup size to a 34D. All the while during the process, she was honest and upfront about it. And up till today, she is still showing her battle wounds! And that is some statement to make!

Ariel Winter said on Twitter on Feb 1:

“Guys there is a reason I didn’t make an effort to cover up my scars! They are a part of me and I’m not ashamed of them at all. :)”

And that comment has drew some flak from some observers.

After all, not all girls like to have oversized breasts which can pose an obvious inconvenience for daily activities.

In an earlier interview with PEOPLE, Ariel Winter expressed her concerns about her growing bust line and why she decided to have breast reduction surgery.

“Being a 5-ft.-tall girl and having extremely large breasts is really ostracizing and excruciatingly painful,” she said. “It’s important to talk about it because there are young girls suffering like I did, but there shouldn’t be a stigma about it.”

Whatever it may be, there are some other celebrities who are not afraid to show the scars. It provides us with some solace that not all superstars are out to deceive their fans about their seemingly perfect bodies. In all, we appreciate Ariel Winter’s honesty about her plastic surgery procedures. Perhaps its easier to admit when she underwent breast reduction instead of breast enlargement.
