Did Rachel Weisz Undergo Plastic Surgery?

Rachel Weisz is one of the most talented English film and theatre actress. She has previously been a fashion model as well. Now in her mid 40s, her everlasting looks has invited tons of speculations about her youthful look. Some of the common allegations of Rachel Weisz plastic surgery include facelifts, rhinoplasty and Botox injections. But you have to look at her before and after photos to find out.

Rachel Weisz has a long standing acting career in Hollywood. She played roles in prominent films like The Mummy series and the action thriller Constantine. She has also played roles in theatres and continues to do so till this day. Having a young look is of vital importance to have starring roles in films and stage play. As such, it is no wonder that Rachel will try her best to maintain her youth.

Rachel Weisz and Botox Injections

Though Botox is a popular plastic surgery procedure, it is often used excessively or in the wrong places, resulting in a bloated and unnatural look. Unless you are Christie Brinkley, tendency is to become addicted to Botox and over use it.

For Rachel Weisz, she once made this statement “ Botox Should be banned for actors, as steroids are for sportsmen. Acting is all about expression; Why woould you want to iron out a frown?” From her statement, it is pretty obvious that she is against the use of Botox. So, to say that she uses Botox is rather far fetched. Furthermore, if you look at her present photos, there is no sign of artificial fillers. Her face still looks natural except for some thick makeup. Other than the makeup, there seems to be no sign of Botox use.

Rachel Weisz and Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty or nose job as many call it, is also one of the top plastic surgeries performed in America today. It is important to get it right the first time as revision rhinoplasty usually produces bad results. Just look at Michael Jackson’s photos and you know why.

Most patients desire a smaller and sharper nose after rhinoplasty. In Rachel Weisz before and after photos, you can see that Rachel had a much bigger and rounded nose than now. Some say her sharper nose is due to weight loss. However, there is very little impact on nose shape for weight loss. Weight loss result in a sharper jawline perhaps,  but never a sharper nose. With her thinner nose bridge and a more pointed nose, we are not surprised if Rachel has indeed undergone rhinoplasty.

But even if she did, her surgeon did the perfect job.

Due to her sharper looks, some speculate that Rachel Weisz has undergone some special facial surgery to get her desired face shape. However, when we look before and after photos of Rachel Weisz, it seems like her face got sharper because of the loss of her facial baby fat. It is more likely the result of a healthy diet rather than an extreme facial reconstruction surgery.

Come on, why would anyone take the risk of a major surgery when their natural looks is already stunning.

Overall, Rachel Weisz has given us great performances on screen and in theatre. Rachel Weisz oozes natural beauty and all the plastic surgery rumors (bar the rhinoplasty) seem to be untrue.
