When was the last time you couldn’t tell the Olsen twins apart?

Those days are long gone because it seems like Mary-Kate Olsen has undergone some serious plastic surgery to get herself differentiated. They now look incredibly different.

Though termed as fraternal twins and not identical twins, both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen looked like each other from young. Check out the pictures below when they were still small kids.

But when they attended the 2014 World of Children Awards in New York City, this picture of Mary-Kate Olsen had everyone talking.

Sure, she opted for the gothic look with minimal makeup, but we wonder how much of the drastic change was due to her makeup and how much of it was due to a plastic surgeon’s interventions.

Most of the comments were targeted at the higher cheekbones of Mary-Kate. Did she have a cheek lift sometime ago? And what a jawline she has?

Mary-Kate Olsen’s features look much sharper and unnatural, especially her cheeks. And there is speculation that she did chin augmentation to make it look more pronounced and pointed.

Then, there is the suspected nose job. Her nose bridge looks narrower than before and when you check out the photos taken with Ashley, you can see that plastic surgery might have been done to make her nose more pointed.

Even the height of the twins are remarkably different. Mary-Kate Olsen looks much shorter than sister Ashley. This might be due to Mary-Kate suffering from anorexia.

Since the sitcom “Full House” ended its run, Mary-Kate Olsen and sister Ashley has been out of the limelight for years. Now they are the full time fashion designers for Elizabeth and James. And what a difference those years of absence make!
