John Goodman Revealed His Weight Loss Secrets and Motivation

In an interview with the New York Post, his personal trainer, Mackie Shilstone, shared that John Goodman shed around 100 pounds. He said “ This didn’t happen overnight – it’s been an ongoing process.”

Shilstone took Goodman even further when he introduced him to a “Mediterranean-style eating plan” — one that leans heavily toward fish, nuts, olive oil, vegetables and fruit. Goodman also exercised six days a week, making sure to take 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day. An elliptical bicycle and treadmill played a big part in whittling the pounds. 

Shilstone shared “There needs to be strategic planning. This time, he really wanted to do it.”

John Goodman admitted ‘I know it sounds sappy, but it was a waste. It takes a lot of creative energy to sit on your ass and figure out what you’re going to eat next … I wanted to live life better.’

To prove that his weight loss was not “a flash in the pan” event, Goodman kept his weight off.

Sean Murray, known for his role as Timothy Mc Gee on NCIS, has been showing off his weight loss on several episodes of the CBS drama series.

His weight loss was so significant that some of his fans suggested he might be sick!

Those suggestions probably drove him to declare on Twitter that his weight loss was for healthy reasons and not due to illness.

Back in 2010, he wrote:

“To those who have asked what I did to lose the 25 lbs: 14 months of no alcohol and almost no sugar. Ate strictly organic.”

Having a sharper jawline can portray a more sturdy and firm image. Generally, a man with a sharper and more defined jawline looks better. As such, many male celebrities will undergo jawline reconstruction surgery to carve out their desired jaw shape.

On January 2, 2016, Park Bo Gum denied having any plastic surgery. In a behind-the-scenes special of the popular drama “Reply 1988”, Park Bo Gum said “No, everything is original. My nose belongs to me”

When you look at his hairline up close, you can see that it is sparse and “grafty,” telling signs of a transplant. But he is fortunate that it doesn’t appear “pluggy” from a social distance.”

“Another red flag is the frontal peak and straight lines of his hairline, which look unnatural. Hopefully he plans to remedy this later with micrografts that can fill in the hairline with a more wavy, randomized approach and help create a more natural looking appearance. ”

Kim Hyun Joong admitted to having a nose job done too. But he mentioned that its not for vanity purposes but for recovery purposes.
